Dorcas offers financial and food assistance along with case management to eligible individuals and families. Applicants will work with trained case managers to determine how to best meet their needs and help them thrive.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Cary or Morrisville,
  • OR have a child in the home who attends a Cary or Morrisville public K-12 school,
  • OR is homeless with a most recent permanent address in Cary or Morrisville.

Financial assistance is available to eligible clients to help with expenses associated with housing, necessary bills, career advancement, and preschool registration and tuition.

The Town of Cary Oasis Utility Bill Program helps those going through financial hardship with their Town of Cary utility bill.

The Stable Homes Cary Program serves those facing housing insecurity and helps identify a path forward when relocation is necessary. 

 

  • The Food Pantry provides free emergency food assistance to eligible clients. Shoppers can choose from a variety of canned and nonperishable goods, frozen meat, fresh produce, and dairy items.
  • Food is donated by community members and managed by a team of volunteers.
Pantry Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 9am – 3pm
  • Saturday: 10am – 2pm
