March 17th, 2020
Friends:
As we continue in this season of uncertainty, we want to reassure you that the Dorcas Ministries staff is continuing to closely monitor the Coronavirus pandemic and how it impacts Dorcas Ministries and the Cary community.
Our top priority is serving our clients. Our Client Services staff is working hard to ensure food is provided and crisis financial assistance is given to our neighbors in need.
With schools closing, we anticipate an increase in demand for our food pantry and our shelves are running low. If you can, we would encourage you to make a donation – either financial or food.
Residents of Cary and Morrisville are encouraged to contact us by phone (919.469.9861, ext. 203) or email (clientservices@dorcascary.org) to request help.
Effective Tuesday, March 17th at 4 PM, the Dorcas Thrift Shop will be closed to all volunteers and customers until further notice.
We intend to keep our donation drop off area open regular hours: Monday – Friday 10 AM -5:30 PM and Saturdays 9 AM – 4:30 PM.
Staff will continue to monitor recommendations by local and federal sources. Please refer to our website for the most up-to-date information.
We are praying for all impacted by the pandemic.
Blessings,
Howard Manning
